This policy explains what personal information TradeWeave collects when you use tradeweave.ai, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only. If you become a customer, a separate agreement covers the data you put into the TradeWeave platform.
Who we are
TradeWeave operates tradeweave.ai and is the controller of the information described here. You can reach us at vineet@tradeweave.ai.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you request a demo or contact us, we collect what you type into the form: your name, work email, company, an optional contact number, and anything you write in the message. If you enter only your email on the first step and don't finish, we keep that email so we can follow up.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs when you visit: your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and the time of the visit. We use these only to keep the site running and secure. We do not run advertising trackers.
Preferences stored in your browser. The site remembers your chosen language in your browser's local storage. Nothing else is stored, and this never leaves your device.
Why we use it
- To respond to your demo request or message, and to arrange a walkthrough.
- To follow up with you about TradeWeave, if you have asked us to.
- To keep the website secure and understand how it is used, in aggregate.
- To meet legal obligations.
Our legal basis is your consent when you submit a form, and our legitimate interest in running the site and responding to enquiries. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run the site, and only as much as they need:
- Formspree receives and delivers form submissions to our inbox.
- Cloudflare hosts the website and keeps server logs.
- Our email provider stores the messages we receive from you.
These providers may process data outside your country. Where required, transfers rely on standard contractual protections. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Demo and contact requests are kept while we are in conversation with you, and for up to 24 months after our last contact, so we can pick things up if you come back. You can ask us to delete them sooner. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider and then discarded.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, receive a copy in a portable form, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email vineet@tradeweave.ai. We will respond within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions travel encrypted to our providers. Access to your information is limited to people at TradeWeave who need it to respond to you.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
